Do not understand the magic at all..How do I drag skills from the book into skill slots? Or - must they be purchased and not available yet.
You just need to equip a Spellbook. Be sure that you also have Fairy Dust in your Inventory. Then you can cast basic magic spells. Abilities feom the Book need to be purchased from the Trainer when your Skill is high enouth.

Thank you - it was the "purchase abilities" that was not understood.Maybe a level 1 "night sight" spell, already known would help
